Baked Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion — chopped
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 can consomme
  • 1 can water
  • 1 cup raw rice — long grain white
  • 1 can mushrooms — small
  • 1 bay leaf
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper — to taste
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Saute onions in butter with bouillion cube.
  2. Add other ingredients.
  3. Bake covered for one hour at 350 °F.
