Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced
  • 4 lemons. uice only
  • red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, water, and zest (not white) from peel of 2 lemons. Cook into a syrup (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add juice of 6 lemons. Add 2 drops red color if want pink lemonade. Freeze.
  3. Mix to lemonade in ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part syrup.

Notes:

Can use 7.5 oz. frozen lemon juice (not concentrate) in lieu of lemon juice if needed.
